How to Cook Urad Split Washed:
- Both the dal and the rice should be washed together.
- Add the washed rice and dal, fenugreek seeds, garlic, 3 1/2 cups water, and salt to a pressure cooker. (The amount of water required will vary depending on the quality of rice used.)
